Criteria for Membership
Physical Therapist Members:
Must be having at least bachelors degree in physical therapy from a recognized/accredited program by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).
Student Members:
Must be a student of a recognized/accredited bachelors or doctorate program from institute recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).
Characteristics of Membership
- Obtaining the membership card and the certificate of member from authorities.
- Obtaining the books on society issue studies and researches.
- Obtaining the technical consultants from the society.
- Use the books, references of the library of association.
- Participation in the activities of society and symposium.
- Allowing the member to attend symposium internal courses of physiotherapy, when the member is nominated by administrative board of association.
- Participation in the annual meeting of society.
- Allowing the member to acquaint and exchange the information about specialization.
Regulations of Membership
Termination of the membership:
Membership is not terminated without approval of administration association. Conditions for termination of membership are as under:
- When a member withdraws from his membership or in the case of his death.
- When a member loses one term or more terms of the association terms.
- Lateness in the payment of annual fee in its entitled one complete year. The membership is not conceded without notification.
- Doing any action which hurts the association.
Suspension of Membership:
Membership can be suspended if the annual membership fee is not paid in time.
Restoration of the Membership:
The membership may restored by decision of the administrative board on request of the member.
General Judgment
- The regulation of this act is effective after the approval of administrative board.
- Administrative board has the right to grant the membership to the individual and authorizations to determine the amount of membership fee every year.
- Only administration board has the right of interpretation of incoming materials and modify them without any confliction with the basic regulation of the association.
